Difference between Informatica and Ab Initio ,Some misconcept of Informatica

>Misconcept 1:
Informatica unable to read file with more than one Delimiter.
Solution:
Step:Import the source flat file as fixed with
Use Java Transformation with import StringTokenizer utility and read the files with more than one delimiter.

>Ab Initio can read more than one delimiter file.
Ab inito having it's own DML method to read the any source before reading.

>Misconcept 2: Informatica unable to do looping.
Solution 1:
Yes directly Informatica does,nt show any looping mechanism even we can use it through

Use Java Transformation /Custom Transformation

>As Ab Initio is code based ETL not as Engine based ETL like informatica .
Due to this it will always supports scripting like shell which do supports
looping.
